At least ten Palestinians were shot dead, and many others suffered bullet injuries on Wednesday morning after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Nablus City amid intensive use of live ammunition.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, ten Palestinian citizens were killed and at least 102 others were injured, six of them in critical condition, by IOF gunfire. The wounded citizens were rushed to different hospitals in Nablus for medical assistance.
The ministry identified, in a brief statement, the victims as: Adnan Sabaa Baara, 72, Muhammad Khaled Anbousi, 25, Tamer Nimr Minawi, 33, Musab Munir Muhammad Awais, 26, Hussam Bassam Aslim, 24, Muhammad Abd al-Fattah Abd al-Ghani, 23, Walid Riyad Hussein Dakhil, 23, Abd al-Hadi Abd al-Aziz Ashqar, 61, the child Muhammad Farid Shaaban, 16, and Jasser Jamil Abd al-Wahhab Qanair, 23.
Earlier this morning, the IOF encircled a house during its raid in the Old City of Nablus and fired a projectile at it, destroying large parts of it.
The Red Crescent Ambulance and Emergency Director in Nablus, Ahmed Jibril, stated that the occupation forces are still blocking medical staff’s access to the area.
The new victims brought the total number of Palestinians killed since the start of the year to 61, including four killed by settlers, 13 children and an elderly woman.
