On Monday, October 10, 2022, a 12-year-old Palestinian child has died after being shot and seriously wounded last Saturday by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) as they conducted a raid in Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian health ministry reported that Mahmoud Samoudi was proclaimed dead after he was seriously wounded by IOF live bullets.
Two other Palestinians were killed in that same raid, while 11 others were injured, bringing the number of Palestinian citizens killed since the beginning of 2022 to 165.
Israeli forces have significantly escalated the killing and repression of Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem during the past several days, following a green light from the political officials in Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has issued a written order to grant “all security forces full freedom” to advance assaults on Palestinians.
On December 2021, the Israeli occupation army has allowed its soldiers to shoot at Palestinians throwing stones and Molotov cocktails.
The decision is not the first of its kind. It came as part of the Israeli systematic execution policy throughout the past decades where thousands of Palestinian stone-throwers were shot killed by Israeli fire.
