The Palestinian Health Ministry said that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have carried out 16 massacres over the past 24 hours against entire families in Gaza, claiming the lives of 196 people and injuring 325 others.
The medical authorities affirmed that the toll of Israeli aggression on Gaza had risen to 21,110 victims and 55,243 wounded since October 7.
The IOF has been intensively targeting the vicinity of Nasser Medical Complex, warning of repeating the same scenario of what happened to Al-Shifa Medical Complex, the ministry added.
It also called on international institutions to take effective and urgent steps to ensure the protection of Nasser Medical Complex, its personnel, the wounded, patients, and thousands of displaced people there.
The ministry further appealed to international institutions to urgently intervene to operate the Al-Shifa Medical Complex again.
Meanwhile, the Government Media Office (GMO) said in a press conference that the Israeli occupation army carried out 1,779 massacres during its ongoing genocide war on the Gaza Strip.
21,110 dead bodies arrived at the hospitals; including 8,800 children and 6,300 women, it added, saying that 55,243 people were injured.
310 medical personnel, 35 civil defense members, and 97 journalists were also among the reported victims, the GMO revealed.
More than 1.8 million people were displaced, while 355,000 people were infected with infectious diseases, it added.
Meanwhile, 126 government offices and 92 schools and universities were completely destroyed, while 285 schools and universities were partially damaged.
115 mosques were completely destroyed, while 200 others were partially damaged, in addition to three churches.
65,000 residential units were completely destroyed by the attacks, while 290,000 housing units were partially damaged.
The Israeli attacks also targeted more than 23 hospitals, 53 health centers, 140 health facilities, and 102 ambulances.
Since Oct. 7, the Israeli occupation army has launched a bloody aggression on the Gaza Strip, causing a severe humanitarian and health catastrophe.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian and human rights law as it exposes civilians’ lives to extreme danger, which requires an immediate international intervention.
The international community must force the Israeli occupation forces to abide by international human rights and humanitarian laws, mainly protecting the rights and lives of civilians, prohibiting their targeting and preserving their safety, and holding the Israeli leaders accountable for committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
