The Israeli army often carries out detention raids against Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, claiming to arrest wanted Palestinians.
Israel currently holds 4,900 Palestinians, including 28 women.
The right to liberty and personal security, among other fundamental human rights, are flagrantly violated by these arbitrary arrests. Detainees are held without proper justification or valid judicial warrants, infringing on their rights to personal freedom and a fair trial.
These violations highlight the urgent need for international intervention to ensure human rights are respected.
