As the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 95 on Tuesday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and level whole blocks and homes and massacre thousands of civilians, mostly children and women.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardment, which started on October 7, climbed to 23,084 victims, and the number of the wounded surged to 58,926 people.
The Israeli occupation army committed, over the past 24 hours, 17 massacres in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the killing of at least 249 civilians and the injury of 510 others.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Media Office (GMO) said that Israeli occupation committed 1,932 massacres since October 7 that claimed the lives of 23,084 people, including 10,000 children, 7,000 women, 326 health personnel, 45 members of the Civil Defense, and 112 journalists.
7,000 people are still missing under the rubble, 70 percent of whom were children and women.
To date, the occupation has arrested 99 health personnel and 10 journalists.
According to GMO, 6,000 injured people are in need of travel for treatment, saying that only 650 injured were able to travel to receive treatment abroad, while 10,000 cancer patients are at risk of death.
More than 2 million people were displaced, while 400,000 people were infected with infectious diseases, it added.
The Israeli occupation also completely destroyed 69,000 housing units, partially damaged 290,000 units, destroyed 200 archaeological and heritage sites, and dropped 65,000 tons of explosives on Gaza.
130 government headquarters were destroyed, 93 schools and universities were completely destroyed, 292 schools and universities were partially destroyed, 138 mosques were completely destroyed and 212 mosques were partially destroyed, and 3 churches were targeted.
The occupation put 30 hospitals and 53 health centres out of service, partially destroyed 150 health institutions, and completely destroyed 121 ambulances.
Since Oct. 7, the Israeli occupation army has launched a bloody aggression on the Gaza Strip, causing a severe humanitarian and health catastrophe.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian and human rights law as it exposes civilians’ lives to extreme danger, which requires an immediate international intervention.
The international community must force the Israeli occupation forces to abide by international human rights and humanitarian laws, mainly protecting the rights and lives of civilians, prohibiting their targeting and preserving their safety, and holding the Israeli leaders accountable for committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
