On Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign throughout the West Bank and Jerusalem.
25 Palestinians were detained during the campaign, including ex-prisoners and minors.
In Ramallah, the ex-prisoner Khaled Nawabit was rounded up in Silwad town only a few days after his release from PA prisons.
In Nablus, the IOF arrested the teen Omar Al-Qatawi from his family house in Balata refugee camp.
In Jenin, three Palestinians were detained in Al-Yamoun, Anza, and Silat Al-Harithiya towns. The detainees were identified as Imad Ziyad Abu Al-Haija, Ahmed Brahma, and Ahmed Muhammad Zyoud.
Two other Palestinians, identified as Antar Hamed and Mahmoud Hamid, were arrested in Silwad town, east of Ramallah
The two brothers Qusai and Uday Issa Rabei were also detained in Deir Abu Mishaal town.
The IOF also rounded up Saed Abd Sidr and Youssef Adnan Al-Aydah in Hebron, Younis Ghazi Odeh in Tulkarem, Khaled Murad Merhi in Balaa town, and Shahryar Balawi and Youssef Ezzat Abu Dayyeh in the Dheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem.
Similar arrests were carried out in Occupied Jerusalem. The detainees were identified as Firas Haikal and his son Khalil, and the minors Malik, Adam al-Rajabi and Hussein Dar Issa, Yazan, Ayoub and Hakam Ruwaidi.
The Israeli occupation army regularly conducts raids, search and arrest operations in Palestinian towns across the occupied West Bank, which have intensified this year with Palestinians arrested on a near-daily basis.
As of October 2022, 4,760 Palestinians are held in Israeli jails, including 33 women, 160 children, and 820 administrative detainees.
IOF Demolishes Palestinian Facilities
Meanwhile, the IOF demolished a Palestinian-owned house in Duma village, south of Nablus under the pretext of being built without a permit.
The IOF troops stormed the village along with a military bulldozer, and forced the Palestinian, Muhammad Hassan Sarayeh, to evict his newly constructed house, before starting the demolition process.
Along the same line, the IOF demolished agricultural facilities belonging to the two Palestinian farmers.
Duma town has been subjected to a fierce Israeli settlement schemes over the past months, where 107 demolition orders were recently issued against Palestinian residential and agricultural facilities.
Another agricultural facility was also demolished in Nabi Elias town, east of Qalqilya (in the northern West Bank).
Since 1948, at least 750,000 Palestinians from a 1.9 million population were made refugees beyond the borders of the state.
Israeli occupation forces had taken more than 78 percent of historic Palestine, ethnically cleansed and destroyed about 500 villages and cities, and killed about 15,000 Palestinians in a series of mass atrocities, including more than 70 massacres.
