On Thursday, June 1, the Israeli occupation forces launched a massive campaign of arrests against 38 Palestinians from the West Bank, most of them from Bethlehem governorate in the south.
The cities of the occupied West Bank witness almost daily incursions by the IOF which results in many injuries to a number of Palestinians during arrest, and sometimes the killing of others.
The number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees in the occupation prisons is about 4,900, including 34 female detainees.
The international community and human rights organisations should highlight these violations and put pressure on the Israeli occupation authorities to end such violations, respect the human rights of Palestinians and end these repressive practices.
