With the ongoing aerial and artillery bombardment of the besieged Strip, the occupation forces continued to target civilians and homes in various areas on the 397th day of Israel’s aggression on the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens.
Killing of a mother and her children
In the most recent massacre, a citizen and her three children were killed in an occupation aircraft strike on the Radii family’s home in the northern Strip town of Beit Lahia.
Local sources confirmed that the bombing resulted in the deaths of the mother and her children, while her husband is still detained in the occupation prisons.
The Israeli warplanes also targeted the vicinity of the western roundabout in Beit Lahia amid artillery firing shells at various areas such as Jabalia and the Beit Lahia project.
Two women killed in Khan Yunis
Two women, Ansam Ahmed Abu Daqqa and Ali Riyad Abu Daqqa, were killed and four others were wounded when the Israeli aircraft struck the residence of citizen Riyad Abu Daqqa in the town of Al-Fakhari, southeast of Khan Yunis.
Rescue crews are still looking beneath the wreckage of the destroyed house for anyone who may be missing.
Later, in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, a bombing targeted a Zuhud family home, injuring eight Palestinians, including two women, five children, and a man. Additionally, a number of residential houses in the northern Gaza Strip’s Jabalia camp were destroyed by the occupation forces.
Deaths and injuries in Gaza and Rafah cities
Late at night, an airstrike struck a residential apartment in the Al-Hamed Al-Rifi building in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City, killing five citizens and injuring others.
The attack severely damaged the building and caused of state of panic among residents.
The Israeli aircraft also launched air raids on local homes in the vicinity of the Al-Janina neighborhood, east of Rafah city, resulting in additional destruction and more deaths and injuries.
Earlier, medical sources confirmed the death of five citizens and the injury of several others in the Al-Zarqa area, north of the Gaza Strip, in new Israeli attacks.
The aggression toll rises
As of right now, 43,391 Palestinians have been killed and 102,347 been injured in Gaza.
In the meantime, the bombing’s intensity and the extensive damage are making it difficult for rescue crews and the Red Cross to reach the victims and rescue the injured, while thousands of bodies remain buried beneath the debris.
The international community remains silent
The international community is still keeping silent about the crimes the occupation forces have committed against Palestinian civilians, who suffer the consequences of these attacks in the form of lives lost and bloodshed.
Various human rights organizations are still calling for international protection for the Palestinian people and an end to the attacks on civilians.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation army has been conducting a genocide war in the Gaza Strip. As a result of the persistent bombing and the strict siege that hinders the delivery of essential supplies like food, water, medicine, and electricity, the humanitarian and health conditions in the region have drastically deteriorated.
In addition to forcing the Israeli occupation to abide by the rulings of the Security Council, the United Nations, and the International Court of Justice, the international community must act swiftly and forcefully to halt the genocide. To stop these heinous crimes, states and international organizations must act decisively to protect civilians, guarantee immediate access to humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip, and carry out international resolutions demanding an end to the siege and aggression.
