In one of the massacres committed in Gaza, the IOF killed 5 Ministry of Health employees in the southern Gaza Strip as a result of bombing.
The ministry announced the killing of five of its employees, and the injury of others, as a result of targeting the ministry’s warehouses in the Musabah area in the city of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
The ambulance crews are unable to reach the dead or treat the wounded, and appealed to international institutions “to intervene to protect and rescue the wounded.”
Since the start of the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, the Israeli occupation forces have been targeting Gaza hospitals and its health system, putting most of them out of service, endangering the lives of doctors, workers, patients and the wounded.
According to the latest statistics from the government media office in Gaza; 986 medical staff of the Ministry of Health were killed.
The occupation’s aggression on the health facilities requires urgent action by the international community to ensure the protection of the rights of health workers, and to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for violations of human rights and international humanitarian law, which stipulates the protection of medical facilities and their workers during conflicts.
Since October 7, the IOF has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving enormous humanitarian conditions and causing a major health and environmental disaster, due to the destruction of vital facilities and the overflow of sewage in large areas.
