The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate announced the killing of 66 journalists since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7.
In a statement on Saturday, the syndicate reported that 66 journalists and media workers have been killed since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, including six female journalists.
The female victims include Salma Mukhaimer, Salam Mima, Iman Al-Uqaili, Alaa Al-Hasanat, Ayat Khadura, and Duaa Sharaf.
The statement added that there are two missing journalists, while 31 journalists have been detained by the occupation authorities.
The Israeli occupation forces launched on October 7 a bloody aggression, claiming the lives of 14,854 people, including 6,150 children and more than 4,000 women.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian and human rights law as it exposes civilians’ lives to extreme danger, which requires an immediate international intervention.
