The Israeli occupation continues its war of extermination on the Gaza Strip, especially in the besieges areas in the north, and commits successive massacres without deterrence.
The government office in Gaza announced that the occupation forces committed a “horrific massacre” by bombing a five-story residential building of Abu al-Nasr family, in which more than 200 civilians were present, killing 93 of them and injuring dozens, while 40 of them are missing.
The government office confirmed that Israeli forces were aware that this residential building was housing dozens of displaced civilians, the majority of whom were children and women who were displaced from their civilian residential neighbourhoods.
The governments stated that this new crime comes as part of the Israeli occupation’s plan to disable the health system in the northern Gaza Strip governorate and destroy the four hospitals and put them out of service. It also comes whilst the Israeli occupation prevents the entry of treatments, medicines and medical supplies.
The statement called on the international community, international and UN organisations, to immediately bring in surgical medical delegations, ambulances and civil defence vehicles to the northern Gaza Strip governorate before it is too late. It called on all countries of the world to condemn this horrific massacre against the displaced, civilians, children and women.
The government held the Israeli occupation, the US administration, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and the countries participating in the genocide “fully responsible for the continuation of the war of ethnic cleansing, the extermination war, the genocide, and the successive massacres committed against civilians in the Gaza Strip.”
For the 25th consecutive day, the Israeli forces continue its extermination war and starvation in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalia and its camp, where it imposes a stifling siege and starvation, amid continuous shelling and the demolition of homes with its resident inside.
Since October 7th, the IOF has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving tens of thousands dead and wounded, and a horrific humanitarian situation, and causing a major health and environmental disaster, due to the destruction of vital facilities and the overflow of sewage in large areas.
The international community is obligated to take immediate action to stop the genocide, and force the Israeli occupation to comply with the decisions of the International Court of Justice, the United Nations and the Security Council.
Countries and international institutions must take serious steps to protect civilians, ensure urgent access to humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, implement international resolutions calling for an end to the siege and aggression, and put an end to these horrific crimes.
