Based on the interests of international peace and security, the Conservative Party should reconsider its absolute support for Israel
Arab Organization for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK) condemned the meeting to be held today in London between the British Prime Minister and the Prime Minister of the occupation government, who intensified the abuse of Palestinians and the construction of settlements for electoral propaganda purposes.
AOHR UK stated that Netanyahu does not hide his racist agenda which goes against the values of the British society and international law. Yesterday Netanyahu’s forces raided the city of Hebron and the Ibrahimi Mosque, and stressed his willingness to expand the settlements.
AOHR UK added that Boris Johnson’s agreement to meet Netanyahu at this time is a wrong choice, which reflects the approach of the Conservative Party in supporting the occupation government at all times, despite the crimes it commits against the Palestinians.
AOHR UK stressed that the aggressive policies of Netanyahu and his government threaten international peace and security, adding that such meetings encourage Netanyahu to carry on with his aggressive approach and gives the occupation government a green light to commit more crimes against the Palestinians.
AOHR UK called on the Conservative Party to revise its policies towards Israel to be in line with the values of the British society, and to stop its absolute support for the occupation government in order to serve peace and security in the Middle East.
