On Sunday, November 28, Israeli settlers, under IOF protection and participation, beat dozens of Palestinians and injuring them at the entrance of Lubban Al-Sharqiya town, south of Nablus, West Bank.
Witnesses added that the IOF fired tear gas and stun grenades at the Palestinians, who were organising a peaceful protest calling for the protection of students at a school located on a road used by settlers.
The occupation forces arrested a citizen after beating him, while dozens of people suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
Over the past few days, the students and teachers of Al-Lubban School have been subjected to attacks and provocations by settlers.
Prior to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank in 1967, three Palestinian schools were built on the main road linking Nablus and Ramallah, serving three Palestinian towns, Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya, Amouriya, and Al-Sawiyah.
