On Tuesday evening, March 1, 2022, a Palestinian youth was shot dead, and another was seriously injured by the Israeli occupation in the south of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Civil Affairs Authority reported the killing of the young man, Ammar Shafiq Abu Afifa, from Al-Aroub camp in Hebron, in the southern West Bank. He was killed by Israeli soldiers near Beit Fajjar town.
The other wounded young man was shot with live bullets in the abdomen, after the IOF attacked a group of young men in Barqa, northwest of Nablus.
The IOF used tear gas to disperse a peaceful march in support of Palestinian prisoners in Cyrenaica, causing a number of participants to suffocate.
Furthermore, on Tuesday at dawn, two Palestinians were killed, and 3 others were injured by the IOF bullets in Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank.
Last January, new orders were made allowing soldiers to shoot at Palestinians throwing stones and Molotov cocktails, even after the act is made, or while withdrawing from the area, and without posing a threat to the soldiers.
