On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out a large-scale raid and arrest campaign throughout the West Bank.
At least 13 arrests were reported in Al-Saila Al-Harithiya town, west of Jenin.
The detainees were identified as: Adnan Abdul-Basit Jardat, Muntasir Ahmad Jardat, Jamal Khaled Jabarin, Muhammad Nabil Zayoud, Youssef Muhammad Tahaineh, Hani Jardat, Khaled Hussein Jardat, Osama Muhammad Al-Shalabi, His son, Usaid, Musa Nahid Zayoud, Talaat Muhammad Jardat, Adam Muhammad Tahaineh, and Khattab Waddah Shawahneh.
In Qalqilya, the Israeli forces arrested Yasser Sanad Hammad, 55, after violently breaking into his family house.
In Bethlehem, the Israeli forces stormed Husan village and broke into dozens of local homes before briefly detaining 15 citizens.
The detainees were later released after being subjected to tough investigation.
In Hebron, IOF troops rounded up three locals, later identified as Nidal Al-Qawasmi, Abdel Karim Farrah, 40, and Falah Mahmoud Abu Warda, 19.
In Nablus, the citizen Abdel Raouf Abdel Ibrahim Jagob, 55, was kidnapped after Israeli forces brutally raided and searched his family house. The university student Husam El-Din Adnan Shtayyeh, 22, was also detained in the nearby village of al-Tel.
The IOF troops often carry out detention raids against Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, claiming to arrest wanted Palestinians.
4,500 Palestinian prisoners are currently held in Israeli jails, including 34 women, 180 minors, and about 500 administrative detainees.
