Today at dawn, a Palestinian child died of his injuries sustained last night, by the Israeli occupation forces, in the West Bank.
According to the official Palestinian television, Mohamed Abdullah Hamid, 16, from Silwad in Ramallah, was shot in the face by the IOF before his arrest, and he died this morning (Saturday).
The late child is the brother of the Palestinian prisoner in the occupation prison, Ahmed Hamid.
Last month, the United Nations Children’s Fund “UNICEF” announced that 13 Palestinian children were killed by Israeli occupation bullets in the West Bank since January 2022.
“A 14 -year -old Palestinian child was killed in Bethlehem, a third Palestinian child to be killed this week,” said Adele Khadr, regional director of UNICEF in the Middle East and North Africa, adding that the occupation “also killed 13 Palestinian children in the West Bank since the beginning of this year – that is, about twice the number compared to last year.”
In recent years, the IOF has increased the use of live ammunition against innocent Palestinians, killing them in cold blood.
In January this year, the IOF leadership issued new orders allowing its soldiers to shoot Palestinians, including children, who throw stones and bottles at the army, even after they have left the place.
