On Monday, July 4, 2022, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) demolished a Palestinian-owned house south of the occupied West Bank, on the pretext of unlicensed construction.
Local sources reported that IOF stormed Umm Qassa community in the Masafer Yatta area, and demolished a house under construction for being allegedly built without Israeli permit in Area C.
The two-floor house was built on an area of 140 square meters, and inhabited by a family of 10 members.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces demolished a plant nursery in Issawiya district in occupied Jerusalem.
Since the start of the year, 80 Palestinian-owned facilities were demolished in occupied Jerusalem, including 37 self-demolition orders.
317 Palestinian facilities were destroyed in 2021 including homes, shops, agricultural nurseries and industrial workshops.
More than 300 Palestinian structures have been demolished or seized throughout the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
