On Thursday, September 29, 2022, a Palestinian child was proclaimed dead after falling from a high place while he and other school children were running away from the occupation soldiers in Teqoa town, east of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
The Palestinian health ministry identified the victim as 7-year-old Rayyan Suleiman was rushed to Beit Jala Hospital after his heart stopped, but efforts to revive him failed.
The ministry added that the child fell from a height after Israeli soldiers harassed him and other students and chased them after they left their school in Teqoa town.
Earlier Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Al-Hajriya School in the southern area of al-Khalil, and assaulted its teachers and students, injuring a number of them.
Since the start of 2022, 35 Palestinian children have been killed in Israeli attacks, including 19 in the West Bank, and 16 in the Gaza Strip.
