UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) revealed that 75 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli occupation forces in search-and-arrest operations across the West Bank so far this year, including 16 children.
According to the report, 171 Palestinians, including at least 44 children, were injured by Israeli forces across the West Bank. Among the injured, six were in incidents involving Israeli settlers.
The report also pointed out that added Israeli authorities’ demolition or confiscated 57 facilities owned by Palestinians in East Jerusalem and Area C of the West Bank, including 17 residential houses, under the pretext of being built without Israeli permit.
In the Gaza Strip, Israeli military bulldozers levelled Palestinian lands located near the so-called border fence more than once.
It is worth to mention that the international humanitarian law prohibits targeting civilians and ensures respect for their lives and for their physical and mental integrity.
