Arab Organisation for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK) warned that the violations of the Israeli occupation forces against Palestinians have reached a dangerous stage.
Today, the IOF stormed the Jenin camp, killing at least 9 Palestinians and wounding many with serious injuries.
In the morning of Thursday, January 26, 2023, the IOF carried out a massacre and filled the overpopulated Jenin camp with the blood of innocent Palestinian citizens.
The IOF used live bullets and missiles against residents of the camp, leaving bodies of the dead in alleys of the camp.
Moreover, the IOF prevented medical staff from reaching the victims to provide them with first aid.
The occupation media quoted the security authorities as saying that the raid was aimed to prevent a large operation from taking place in the Green Line. However, these claims have proven to be false, since the IOF raids have been taking place on a daily basis against Palestinian cities of The West Bank. Victims of these raids include children and the elderly who would not logically be planning carry out operations by all means.
The United Nations described 2022 as the bloodiest year, for the Palestinians, where 171 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed in the West Bank, and hundreds were injured. It also added that 13 people were killed during the first two weeks of 2023, which proves the occupation’s thrust to kill the innocent Palestinians in their homeland.
AOHR UK stressed that the occupation forces have crossed all lines by committing all sorts of crimes and most notably by violating the Palestinians right to life. The organisation called for an urgent action to be taken to stop these crimes and provide protection for the Palestinian people.
AOHR UK called on the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, to prosecute the perpetrators of the serious crimes committed by the IOF, as it is no longer acceptable for the Public Prosecution Office to remain silent in the face of these crimes.
