A group of settlers attacked late Saturday a local mosque in the Old City in Hebron, to the south of the Occupied West Bank.
The settlers, from the Abraham Avenue illegal settlement, stoned the Al-Sunya Mosque located in the Al-Sahla area, smashing its windows and damaging its outside yard.
Meanwhile, 81 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque via the Mughrabi Gate, under tight police protection.
During their tour, the settlers performed Talmudic rituals in total provocation to Palestinian worshipers.
However, the Israeli occupation police imposed tight movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon except on Fridays and Saturdays.
