A Palestinian young woman was shot dead on Thursday afternoon by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Hawara town, south of Nablus.
The Palestinian health ministry said that 26-year-old Iman Odeh suffered a fatal bullet injury in her chest after the IOF opened fire at her near Huwara, south of Nablus.
The ministry added that the victim was transferred to the Rafidia Hospital in Nablus City, where she was pronounced dead.
Since the start of the year, 108 Palestinians have been killed in IOF and settler attacks, including 20 children and two women.
International humanitarian law prohibits targeting civilians and subjecting them to attack, whether a group or an individual, and stresses respect for their lives, their physical and mental integrity, and their protection and humane treatment.
