Today, Saturday, May 06, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces executed two Palestinians and injured another, after storming Tulkarm refugee camp, in the northern West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the two dead, Samer Salah Al-Shafei and Hamza Jamil Khreyoush, both aged 22, arrived at Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital. Another person was also injured in his extremities with bullets of the IOF.
Al-Shafei was shot in the neck, chest and abdomen, while Khareoush was shot in the chest, abdomen and left foot.
Moreover, the IOF were filmed while committing the heinous crime of desecrating their corpses.
The IOF also arrested two young men, Ibrahim Shalash, 20, and Mohamed Balidi, 23, before the forces withdrew from Tulkarm camp.
The crimes of the IOF violated the right to justice and equality before the law, which requires urgent intervention of the international community and human rights organisations to ensure the protection of the human rights of Palestinians, and to ensure accountability for perpetrators of these gross violations and crimes.
Since the beginning of this year, the death toll of Palestinians killed at the hands of the IOF and settlers has risen to 110, including 20 children and 2 women.
