On Friday, June 09, 2023, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of Mahdi Samir Mohamed Bayasda, 29, who was shot by the the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) near the “Rantis” military checkpoint, Ramallah, the West Bank.
Since the beginning of this year, the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation forces and its settlers became 160, including 36 in the Gaza Strip, and 28 children.
The international community, including all human rights organisations are called to take serious measures to shed light on these violations, and the to bring those responsible for these violations to justice.
Protection policies for Palestinian civilians at risk need to be enforced immediately, as well as providing the necessary support to families affected by these violations.
