On Thursday, July 13, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces launched a massive campaign of arrests against 22 citizens in different areas of the occupied West Bank.
Six citizens were arrested in Qibya, in the Ramallah governorate, in the central West Bank.
At dawn today, the IOF arrested Mrs. Suhad Thawabteh, 44, mother of four, from her home in Bethlehem without disclosing the reasons for her arrest.
The IOF also kidnapped two young Palestinians; Sufyan Abu Libdeh and Ibrahim Ghannam, from their workplace in Nour Shams camp.
It also re-arrested the Jerusalemite prisoner, Ali Dana, 43, the moment he was released from the Negev prison, after he had spent 20 years in detention.
Dana was arrested in 2003 and he suffers from several chronic diseases, as the occupation prison administration subjected him to medical negligence.
The number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees in the occupation prisons is about 4,900, including 34 female prisoners.
