On Thursday, August 17, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and killed a Palestinian young man during a military raid in Jenin City, north of the West Bank.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, 32-year-old Mustafa al-Kastouni was martyred after the IOF showered him with bullets in his head, chest, and abdomen.
The health ministry pointed out that a 34-year-old nurse was also hit with two bullets in the abdomen and chest.
Earlier today, a large number of Israeli forces raided Jenin after special units infiltrated the city.
The IOF also detonated a bakery belonging to the martyr’s family and kidnapped two citizens.
Since the start of the year, 213 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli gunfire, including 40 children and 11 women.
These serious human rights violations require urgent international intervention to hold those responsible to justice and provide protection to civilians during conflicts.
