Continuing its pattern of human rights violations against Palestinians, Israeli occupation forces carried out a raid on the Nur Shams refugee camp near Tulkarm, resulting in the execution-style killings of two young Palestinian men.
Early on Sunday morning, Israeli military units, accompanied by bulldozers, entered the camp amid a hail of gunfire. The forces began to destroy the camp’s main road and infrastructure, while snipers took positions on the rooftops of residential buildings.
During the incursion, Israeli forces fatally shot Abdul Rahman Suleiman Abu Daghsh, 32, and Asid Farhan Abu Ali, 21, in the head. Both were later pronounced dead at the Thabit Thabit Government Hospital in Tulkarm.
The raid also led to extensive damage to the camp’s infrastructure, including water and sewage lines, as well as electrical systems, causing a temporary power outage. Several vehicles and shops were also damaged in the process.
The killings bring the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the West Bank and Gaza this year to 248, including 47 children, 11 women, and 8 elderly individuals.
These actions by Israeli occupation forces have led to calls for immediate international intervention to hold those responsible accountable for these grave violations and to ensure the protection of Palestinian human rights.
