The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and killed two Palestinian children during their military raid into Jenin City and its refugee camp on Wednesday morning.
The Palestinian Health Ministry affirmed that the child Adam Samer Al-Ghoul, 8, and the child Basil Suleiman Abu Al-Wafa. 15, were shot dead by Israeli gunshot injuries.
The IOF also prevented medical crews from reaching the kids after they were directly shot in al-Basateen neighborhood.
Two other people suffered serious injuries during the raid. One of them was shot in the head while the second was run over by a military jeep.
The IOF continued from Tuesday evening until Wednesday morning to storm Jenin City and its refugee camp, amid a deliberate targeting of a number of homes and vehicles and a total siege of hospitals.
The IOF also obstructed the movement of ambulances and paramedics and used them as human shields during its raid, which continued until Wednesday.
The IOF also kidnaped at least seven young men from different areas of Jenin. One of the detainees was snatched by Israeli soldiers from an ambulance after he suffered a bullet injury during the events.
The Israeli forces went on the rampage through Jenin and its refugee camp, destroying public and private property, firing live ammunition, tear gas canisters, and stun grenades, besieging and raiding homes and hospitals, and assaulting citizens and paramedics.
Later on Wednesday, the IOF declared Jenin and its refugee camp a closed military zone amid clashes with resistance fighters.
The IOF continued to raid and encircle homes, destroy roads, infrastructure, and private property, and target homes with missiles from drones.
These serious human rights violations require urgent international intervention to hold those responsible to justice and provide protection to civilians during conflicts.
