As part of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, three Palestinian young men were killed when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bombed a house in Tulkarem refugee camp, north of the West Bank, at dawn Thursday.
The victims were identified as Imad Sharim, Wasim Anbar, and Muawiya al-Hajj Ahmed.
Since 1:00 AM, the IOF troops have been bulldozing the infrastructure in the streets of the camp, and in the neighborhoods of Hamam, Al-Madaris, Qaqun, Al-Muqata’a, Al-Balawneh, Al-Murabba’a, and Al-Akasha, and deliberately vandalized public and private property, including homes and shops.
The Israeli bulldozers also closed all entrances to Al-Muqata’a neighborhood at the western entrance to the camp, and covered its alleys with dirt mounds, while other military vehicles were deployed along Nablus Street adjacent to the northern entrance to the camp, and in the adjacent suburb of Dhnaba.
Meanwhile, a tight siege was imposed on the camp, amidst heavy fire of sound and light bombs and gunfire, coinciding with the intensive flying of reconnaissance aircraft over the area.
In a similar attack, the Israeli forces stormed the Abu Bilal estate in the Aktaba suburb east of the city, surrounded one of the houses there, before hitting it with an “Energa”. A vehicle was set on fire and mass destruction was left in the house during the attack.
The West Bank, including Jerusalem, has been witnessing almost daily Israeli raids and incursions, accompanied by confrontations, arrests, shooting and tear gas bombs at Palestinians, and repeated attacks by settlers.
The crime of executing the three young men constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights, as it exposes the lives and property of civilians to grave danger, and causes them great suffering.
