Israeli occupation forces’ ongoing attacks on the Nour Shams camp, east of Tulkarem city, resulted in numerous fatalities and injuries as well as extensive damage to the infrastructure and personal belongings.
In the midst of widespread destruction and bulldozing, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Nour Shams camp amid strict siege.
In addition to destroying public and private property, including homes and shops that were destroyed during previous raids, the IOF bulldozers have been destroying the Manshiya neighborhood, the infrastructure on Nablus Street, the main entrance to the camp, and the previously destroyed Martyr Saif Abu Labda roundabout since dawn.
The IOF forces bulldozed the water and electricity lines feeding the camp, which caused a complete water and electricity outage.
With a large number of vehicles and three heavy bulldozers, the Israeli forces stormed Tulkarem city at dawn today. They patrolled the city’s main streets, Al-Alimi, Al-Quds Al-Maftuhah, and Nablus. They passed through the entrance to Tulkarm camp and made their way to Nour Shams camp.
The IOF imposed a tight siege on the camp which led to the outbreak of violent clashes, amid heavy low-altitude flying of reconnaissance aircraft.
An Israeli drone bombed the camp square during the raid, killing two young men, Ahmed Issam Fahmawi (18 years old) and Abdul Aziz Mahmoud Abu Saman (22 years old).
A dead young man was later taken to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarm after being hit in the head by Israeli gunfire, according to a statement released by the Red Crescent Society.
Last night, Israeli special forces assassinated the young man Hussam Bassam Yousef Malah (30 years old), while he was in his shop in Tulkarem camp.
The three victims brought the total number of fatalities in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, since October 7, 2023, to 766, including 166 children, and more than 6,300 injured.
