Four Palestinians were shot and killed, and five others were injured, in an Israeli military raid into Jenin at dawn Monday.
Medical sources identified the victims as Amir Abdullah Sharbaji, 25, Nawras Ibrahim Zidan Bajawi, 28, Wiam Iyad Ahmed Al-Hanoun, 27, and Musa Khaled Jayarin, 23.
50 Israeli military vehicles stormed Jenin accompanied by two military bulldozers, and surrounded the vicinity of Ibn Sina Hospital amid the flight of a reconnaissance drone over the city.
Israeli snipers were deployed on the roofs of the buildings surrounding Ibn Sina Hospital and fired live bullets at local citizens.
At least nine locals were injured, including one in serious condition, as a result of the aggression on Jenin.
Several vehicles were also destroyed during the raid.
Meanwhile, an Israeli drone fired a missile at the Al-Qaniri family’s home in the Al-Hawashin neighborhood, wounding a young man and causing material damage to the house.
The Israeli aggression against Jenin camp coincides with the 24th day of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, which left thousands dead and wounded, the majority of whom were women and children.
The Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian and human rights law, as it exposes the lives and property of civilians to extreme danger.
This Israeli brutal aggression stresses the need to prosecute those behind it and bring them to justice, as the unjustified killing of civilians and health care workers constitutes a war crime whose perpetrators s subject to accountability and trial before the International Criminal Court.
