Arab Organisation for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR-UK) warmly invites you to a seminar and discussion conference on the Gaza Blockade, in light of new measures taken by president Mahmoud Abbas to tighten the siege.
For the past eleven years, the Gaza Strip has been under siege from various parties, primarily Israel and Egypt. During this time, Israel has engaged in three wars on the Gaza Strip, claiming the lives of thousands, many of them women and children, and injuring thousands more.
In recent months, Mahmoud Abbas has openly joined parties responsible for imposing the siege and it’s continuation. He has announced that he will take painful measures against the Gaza Strip, which he has already begun to implement.
