The Israeli occupation continues its war of genocide against the Gaza Strip for the 103rd day in a row, claiming the lives of thousands of Palestinians so far.
The death toll from Israeli bombardments in the Gaza Strip has risen to over 24,448 victims, mostly women and children, the health ministry in the embattled coastal enclave stated, saying that the number of wounded climbed to over 61,504 people.
The health minister further pointed out that 70 percent of the casualties are children and women.
16 Israeli massacres were carried out over the past few hours, killing 163 people and injuring 350 others.
The health authorities said that the Israeli occupation forces carried out 2,000 massacres during the ongoing genocide war on the Gaza Strip.
23,968 dead bodies arrived at the hospitals, including 10,600 children and 7,200 women.
The health ministry further noted that 337 health personnel were killed during the attacks, in addition to 45 members of the Civil Defence and 118 journalists.
According to the medical authorities, 7,000 people are still missing, 70% of whom are children and women.
To date, the occupation has arrested 99 health personnel and 9 journalists.
11,000 injured people are in need of travel for treatment, the health ministry added, saying that 10,000 cancer patients are at risk of death while 400,000 people were infected with infectious diseases.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Media Office (GMO) said that 134 government headquarters were destroyed, 95 schools and universities were completely destroyed, 295 schools and universities were partially destroyed, 150 mosques were completely destroyed, 245 mosques were partially destroyed, and 3 churches were targeted.
The Israeli occupation also completely destroyed 70,000 housing units, partially damaged 290,000 units, destroyed 200 archaeological and heritage sites, and dropped 65,000 tons of explosives on Gaza.
The occupation put 30 hospitals and 53 health centres out of service, partially destroyed 150 health institutions, and completely destroyed 121 ambulances.
Since Oct. 7, the Israeli occupation forces launched a bloody aggression on the Gaza Strip, causing a severe humanitarian and health catastrophe.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian and human rights law as it exposes civilians’ lives to extreme danger, which requires an immediate international intervention.
The international community must force the Israeli occupation forces to abide by international human rights and humanitarian laws, mainly protecting the rights and lives of civilians, prohibiting their targeting and preserving their safety, and holding the Israeli leaders accountable for committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
