As Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip entered its 13th day on Thursday, the death toll climbed to over 3,785 victims, including 1524 children and 1,000 women.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reports that 3,983 children and 3,300 women are among the over 12,493 injured citizens, a sharp increase from the previous count.
The death toll in Gaza is likely to increase as the Israeli army continues to launch deadly and devastating attacks on different areas.
The ministry further stated that 44 medical professionals have tragically died and another 70 have been injured as a result of Israeli forces’ intentional targeting of the healthcare infrastructure.
14 primary care facilities and 4 hospitals had been placed out of commission, it added.
We are concerned that all the hospitals in the Gaza Strip will soon run out of medicine because the supply is so low, the ministry warned.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian and human rights law as it exposes civilians’ lives to extreme danger, which requires an immediate international intervention.
