At least 13 people have been killed and 20 injured in Israeli air raids on the Gaza Strip at dawn Tuesday. Four children and four women were among the victims.
During the attack, an explosion hit the top floor of an apartment building in Gaza City, a house in the southern city of Rafah, and another in Khan Yunis.
The victims include: Jihad Ghannam, 62, his wife Wafa Shadeed Ghannam, Khalil al-Bahtini, 44, the child Hajar al-Bahtini, Laila Majdi Mustafa al-Bahtini, Tariq Ezz al-Din, his two children, Ali and Mayar, and Jamal Saber Muhammad Khaswan and his son Youssef, Mervat Saleh Muhammad Khaswan, and Dania Alaa Atta Adass.
20 others were injured in the missile attacks, including three children and seven women.
Since the early morning hours, Israeli fighter jets have struck parts of the south and north of the Gaza Strip.
The massacre represents a clear violation of human rights, as it targeted residential buildings in heavily populated areas.
International laws strictly prohibit targeting civilians and residential areas during wars and armed conflicts.
