The Israeli occupation is trying to conceal the numerous massacres carried out by its forces in the Gaza Strip, despite the fact that the horrifying crimes it has publicly committed are enough to condemn it.
In this regard, thirty handcuffed and blindfolded bodies were found inside a school in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza
The bodies were reportedly found in black plastic bags, blindfolded, and with their hands tied behind their backs.
The Palestinians have previously reported several such massacres in areas from which the Israeli occupation forces have withdrawn, particularly those that were used as assembly, detention, and interrogation areas.
This horrible act demonstrates the Israeli occupation’s attempt to conceal the war crimes it is committing in Gaza and is a flagrant violation of human rights.
This crime violates the Geneva Conventions, which safeguard individual civilians and prisoners during times of war and forbid torture and inhuman treatment. It is also an egregious violation of international humanitarian law, which mandates that combatants who are no longer a threat and civilian victims must be treated with respect and dignity.
Such heinous massacres require an immediate and comprehensive investigation by international organisations to hold those responsible accountable and ensure compensation for the families of the victims.
Since October 7, the Israeli occupation army has waged a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which has left an enormous humanitarian catastrophe and a major health and environmental disaster.
The Israeli occupation destroyed the only supplies of fuel, electricity, water, and food for the people of the Gaza Strip at the start of the conflict by bombing bakeries, factories, stores, water stations, tanks, and other infrastructure.
The Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights, as it exposes the civilians’ lives to extreme danger and causes them great suffering, which requires urgent and decisive international intervention to stop the aggression and protect civilians in the Gaza Strip.
