A Palestinian boy was killed yesterday by live fire from Israeli occupation forces in the city of Hebron, in the southern West Bank. A number of other Palestinian citizens were wounded, some critically, during the same incident.
In a press statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of 17-year-old, Moamen Yassin Jaber, after he was shot in the chest by Israeli forces.
The ministry confirmed that two others seriously wounded Palestinian citizens were admitted to Hebron Governmental Hospital yesterday afternoon.
Both had suffered gunshot wounds.
As the ministry stated, one of those citizens suffered a critical chest injury. After resuscitation, they were transferred to al-Ahly Hospital for an emergency operation. The other injured citizen suffered a groin injury, and was also operated on yesterday.
On the same day, Israeli occupation forces arrested Mustafa al-Husays, from the town of al-Samu’a, south of Hebron, after they had shot him in the foot with live bullets.
