On Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested five Palestinian children in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
The occupation soldiers arrested three children, after an Israeli military force stormed the Shuafat refugee camp, north of the city, and took them for interrogation without clarification.
Moreover, IOF arrested a child in Bab Al-Amoud area in Jerusalem, for allegedly throwing stones at them.
The IOF has also arrested another Palestinian child in the town of Silwan, in the center of the Holy City.
According to human rights statistics; during Last month, September, the IOF arrested 56 minors in Jerusalem.
For almost two weeks now, tension has risen in Jerusalem following the Israeli judicial decision allowing settlers to perform public prayers inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, while conflicting reports about the abolition of the decision are circulating, amid complete official Israeli silence.
Arab Organisation for Human Rights in the UK has repeatedly condemned the escalating brutal practices of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians, calling on the international community to take practical positions in order to stop the violations and crimes of the Israeli occupation forces and settlers against the Palestinians, and children in particular.
Given the ongoing criminal practices by the Israeli authorities, silence cannot be accepted, especially while the occupying entity enjoys normal relations with the international community without any kind of accountability or oversight.
The number of Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons is about 4,850, including 41 female prisoners, 225 children, and 540 administrative detainees, according to institutions specialised in prisoners’ affairs.
