On Wednesday, July 12, the Israeli occupation forces launched a massive campaign of arrests, against 16 Palestinians, of whom three were released prisoners and two brothers.
From Bethlehem: Mohamed Atef Abu Aker, Adam Musa Abu Nassar, and Qusay Ghaleb Al-Malhi, from Dheisheh camp, south of Bethlehem.
Jerusalem: Saif Al-Sheikh and Ahmed Issa, from Anata, northeast of the occupied city.
Qalqilya: Abd Adnan Al-Rai.
Jericho: 3 citizens, including two brothers: Amir and Ihab Hamidat, and Yazan Hamidat, from Aqabat Jabr camp.
Tulkarm: Akram Essam Hussein Qa’dan, 38 and Bahaa Imad Qa’dan, 30, after they raided their homes in the western neighborhood of the city, and Hamza Yusef Salit from Balaa, east of the city.
Hebron: The released prisoner, Ismail al-Halabi, was arrested from Dura, south of the city.
Ramallah: Aseel Abdel Salam Barghouti, 20, from Kober, northwest of the city.
Nablus: the released prisoner, Hossam Al-Razah, and Saed Al-Masry, from Asira Street in the city.
The cities of the occupied West Bank witness almost daily incursions by the occupation forces, which usually end with the arrest and injury of a number of Palestinians, and sometimes the killing of others.
The number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees in the occupation prisons is about 4,900, including 34 female prisoners.
