On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out a large-scale raid and arrest campaign throughout the West Bank. At least 21 Palestinians were detained during the raids.
Seven Palestinians were detained in Ramallah, including two ex-prisoners.
The detainees include Muhammad Abdullah Al-Kaisiya, Yazan Rashid Alyan, Muhammad Kharoub, Youssef Ihab Zubaidi, Youssef Ghawanmeh, Muhammad Amjad Safi, and Ali Zahi Barghouti.
Five more arrests were carried out in Bethlehem, including three children.
The detainees include Mustafa Amer Sabah, 14, Ibrahim Samir Sabah, 14, Muhammad Yassin Sabah, 13, Omar Deeb Al-Amour, 30, and Nayef Mahmoud Hajjaha, 19.
The IOF troops also rounded up Khalil Muhammad Hussein Al-Kharouf and Al-Mu’tasim Billah Jibril Al-Jiawi after storming their family homes in Idna town in al-Khalil.
Also, in al-Khalil, IOF detained Abdullah Refaat Khalil Al-Awawda, 21, from Karma town, and Othman Yasser Othman Abu Aram from Masafer Yatta.
The three ex-prisoners Amjad Al-Damoon, Muhammad Omar Abu Jaber, and Haitham Fayeq Gwadareh were also rounded up in Jenin.
The occupation forces also arrested the ex-prisoner Munir Ibrahim Fuqaha, 28, in Tubas, and Kazem Murad Hanani in Nablus.
As of May 2022, 4,600 Palestinians are held in Israeli jails, including 31 women, 172 children, and 682 administrative detainees.
