The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) demolished two Palestinian-owned houses in Forush Beit Dajan village, east of Nablus, on Monday morning.
A large number of IOF soldiers, including military bulldozers, stormed the area and destroyed two homes that belonged to Samar Haj Muhammad and Yasser Abu Al-Kabash.
Last July, the IOF issued demolition and confiscation orders against 13 homes and facilities in the village after seizing 11,000 dunums of land.
Along the same line, the Israeli forces demolished a house under construction in Al-Jiftlik village, north of Jericho, belonging to Abdel Rahim Bani Odeh, under the pretext of being built without a permit.
Meanwhile, the Israeli forces continue to confiscate Palestinian properties in al-Khalil, south of the occupied West Bank, for the profit of settlement expansion.
Earlier on Sunday, a group of settlers attempted to seize a large area of Palestinian lands in Masafer Yatta, south of the city, under the protection of IOF troops.
Dozens of settlers placed barbed wire around approximately 50 dunums, belonging to the Hathlin and Zein families, adjacent to the Karmiel illegal settlement.
The Israeli forces had earlier issued a plan to expand the Karmiel settlement at the expense of the Palestinian lands located between Umm al-Khair and Seddat al-Thaala villages.
Israel’s demolition, displacement, and settlement policies are blatant violations of international law and the fundamental human right to housing, which includes the right to stability and access to safe and suitable housing free from discrimination or forced eviction.
