The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished a Palestinian house in Jabal al-Mukabber town, southeast of Occupied Jerusalem, belonging to the local resident Ihab al-Hussaini.
On Tuesday morning, the IOF violently stormed Jabal Al-Mukabber and started demolishing the residential facility, housing al-Hussaini’s wife and two kids.
Ihab al-Hussaini received a demolition order earlier this month and gave him 21 days to self-demolish his house or to be fined. However, he refused to do so.
Also on Tuesday, the Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished a second house belonging to Nizar Muheisen in Al-Isawiya town, northeast of the occupied city.
Nizar Muheisen also received a fine of 100,000 shekels.
Muheisen had already started demolishing a part of his house earlier this month after receiving an Israeli demolition order. Only a wall remained.
The occupation forces stormed the town earlier today and demolished the remaining wall.
Since 1948, Israeli occupation demolished more than 500 Palestinian villages and towns.
In 2022, 318 Palestinian-owned houses and 583 facilities were either demolished or destroyed in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces.
