On Wednesday, July 6, 2022, the Israeli occupation forces, IOF, shot a Palestinian citizen Rafik Riad Ghannam, 20, during his arrest in Jaba town, and announced his death a few hours later.
Ghannam’s family confirmed that the occupation soldiers deliberately killed him in cold blood in front of his house, covered him in a black bag after his injury and arrested him, and announced his death later.
Ghannam is the second Palestinian citizen killed by the IOF in Jaba town in three days, following the killing of Kamel Alawneh, last Sunday, Whereas the total number of Palestinian citizens killed in Jenin since the beginning of the year has reached 29.
Furthermore, the IOF fired live bullets at Fadi Al-Khatib at the door of his house injuring him and arrested him for some time, while preventing the medical crews from treating him.
Ahmed, Fadi’s brother, said: “we found Special Forces in front of our house riding inside pa white civilian bus, and they stormed our house in seconds,” adding: “My brother was at the other door of the house, so they started shooting directly at him, brought him home and prevented the medical crews from reaching him until they finished storming the house.”
The Special Forces arrested Ameed Ersan after raiding his house in Jenin.
Ameed’s father said: “At 6:00AM special forces raided our house, broke the doors, let a police dog inside the house, and beat Ameed while he was sleeping in his bed.” he added: “I tried to protect him, but to no avail. His nose was bleeding during the attack”.
