The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed a Palestinian teen from Kafr Dan village, west of Jenin, at dawn Friday.
Palestinian medical sources identified the martyr as Abdullah Abu Hassan, 18.
According to the sources, Abu Hassan succumbed to his wounds after Israeli forces opened fire during a storming of the village.
Abu Hassan was transferred to hospital suffering from gunshot injuries to his abdomen, where he was pronounced dead.
IOF soldiers stormed the village, firing live bullets and teargas canisters, with additional reinforcements sent.
This year is shaping up to be one of the bloodiest in the occupied West Bank. According to Palestinian estimates, at least 246 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli occupation forces so far this year, including 47 children, 11 women, and eight elderly.
These serious human rights violations require urgent international intervention to hold those responsible to justice and provide protection to civilians during conflicts.
The international community must also support the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and freedom, dignity, and autonomy.
