On Monday, Dec. 26, 2022, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign throughout the West Bank.
Three Palestinian youths were detained in Jalazoun refugee camp and Kober village in Ramallah, while three others were detained in Occupied Jerusalem.
The detainees were identified as: Haitham Jamal Abu Sharifa, Muhammad Mahmoud Hamza, Mahmoud Ali Zibar, Issam Imad Atoun, Musa Ziyad Atoun, and Muhammad Ali Atoun.
Two other Palestinians were also detained in Jenin, including the ex-prisoner Yazan Kamal Lahlouh and the young man Abdel Halim Ahmed Al-Khalidi Al-Mathlouni.
Meanwhile, a group of settlers launched several attacks targeting Palestinian residents and their properties throughout Nablus, to the north of the West Bank.
A local house was stoned, and a bus was burned during the settler attacks in Burin village.
A similar attack was reported in Urif town, where a local house and a vehicle were damaged, while another vehicle was stoned in Hawara town.
The Israeli occupation army regularly conducts raids, search and arrest operations in Palestinian towns across the occupied West Bank, which have intensified this year with Palestinians arrested on a near-daily basis.
As of December 2022, more than 4,800 Palestinians are held in Israeli jails, including 32 women, 180 children, and 743 administrative detainees.
