Along with the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 75th consecutive day, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued their violations in the West Bank cities and villages, claiming the lives of several victims.
In this regard, the IOF executed a Palestinian child on Wednesday evening after opening fire at him in Husan village, west of Bethlehem.
Health authorities affirmed that 16-year-old Mahmoud Muhammad Issa Zaoul was killed after being shot in the neck during an Israeli military raid into the Al-Muteena area at the eastern entrance to the Husan village.
The Israeli human rights violations in the West Bank came in coincidence with the Israeli 75-day aggression on the Gaza Strip, leaving thousands of victims, mostly women and children, in addition to the massive destruction.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian and human rights law as it exposes civilians’ lives to extreme danger, which requires immediate international intervention.
The unjustified killing of civilians and healthcare workers constitutes a war crime, whose perpetrators should be held accountable and tried before the International Criminal Court. This brutal aggression highlights the need to prosecute those responsible and bring them to justice.
