Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) demolished 11 Palestinian-owned agricultural and residential facilities in occupied Jerusalem since the start of the year.
The demolition operations were mainly carried out in Sheikh Jarrah, Silwan, Sur Baher, Jabal Mukaber, Al-Za’im, Al-Isawiya Al-Sharqiya, Beit Hanina, and Anata.
The demolished facilities included a shop in Sheikh Jarrah, three houses in Silwan, Jabal Mukaber, and Sur Baher, and a part of a medical centre in Jabal Mukaber.
Israeli municipal authorities also forced a Jerusalemite family to self-demolish a room of their home in Silwan.
Israeli bulldozers also demolished a house belonging to the Rajabi family in the town of Beit Hanina despite obtaining a court order to stop the demolition process.
Another house was further demolished near the Maghariba neighbourhood.
IOF troops also bulldozed Palestinian-owned agricultural lands in Al-Isawiya Al-Sharqiah and Al-Zaeem town and destroyed other agricultural facilities in Anata.
Israeli municipality crews further issued cease-construction notices against a number of Palestinian buildings in Jabal Al-Mukabber and Al-Isawiya towns, including a mosque.
More than 850 Palestinian homes and structures were destroyed by Israel in 2021, including 160 units in occupied Jerusalem, according to rights groups.
The demolitions last year displaced around 900 people, including 463 minors.
