The Israeli three-day assault on the Gaza Strip has killed 45 Palestinians, including 15 children and four women, and injured 360 more.
Earlier Sunday evening, a ceasefire has come into effect in the besieged enclave at 23:30 local time (20:30 GMT), after talks moderated by Egyptian mediators.
Gaza Civil Defense affirmed that 9 residential buildings were completely destroyed during the three-day aggression, and more than 1,500 housing units were damaged, of which 16 were completely destroyed.
“The Israeli occupation destroyed several buildings over the heads of the residents in the Al-Shout neighborhood in Rafah, on Saturday evening, violating all international humanitarian laws and conventions,” the Civil Defense said.
Since Friday, Israel has carried out heavy aerial and artillery bombardment of the besieged Gaza, targeted heavy crowded residential neighborhoods without prior notice.
