The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continues its aggression on Jenin and its camp for the fourth day in a row, leaving a number of dead and wounded, in addition to displacement and widespread destruction of the infrastructure, amidst a curfew in the Al-Damj and Al-Jabariyat neighbourhoods.
This afternoon, a child was injured in the head by IOF live bullets in Jenin. A number of other citizens in the Al-Damj neighborhood in Jenin camp were injured as well, without the Red Crescent crews being able to reach them, due to being prevented by the IOF.
IOF also forced a number of families to leave their homes and exit from the back side adjacent to Jenin Governmental Hospital “Al-Hisan Roundabout area”.
The occupation forces launched a wide arrest campaign in the eastern neighbourhoods of Jenin, after raiding and searching homes, while detaining a number of citizens and using them as human shields in the Al-Damj neighbourhoods in Jenin camp.
IOF prevented water tanks of the Civil Defence in Jenin from reaching Jenin Governmental Hospital, threatening the lives of many patients.
Jenin Governmental Hospital suffers from a severe shortage of water for the fourth day, due to the destruction and aggression of the IOF.
On Saturday morning, the IOF demolished a wall and the cemetery gate in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, while a curfew continued on the neighbourhood and the old town, and raided several homes and forced citizens to leave in ambulances, and detained a number of young men and children.
The streets, infrastructure and parts of the homes of the eastern neighbourhood of Jenin were bulldozed.
The aggression continues for the fourth day on a dangerous level in Jenin where IOF deployed their soldiers and snipers everywhere.
In the area surrounding Al-Razi Hospital, an occupation sniper opened fire on a paramedic while he was trying to transfer the medical staff from Al-Razi Hospital to Al-Amal Hospital.
The occupation forces continue to besiege Ibn Sina Hospital and preventing ambulances from reaching patients.
Yesterday, Jenin camp witnessed a large raid, while the occupation bulldozers continue destroying and bulldozing the neighbourhood, where the occupation snipers were deployed on the roofs of houses, and the power outage continued in large parts of the camp.
In the Al-Fallujah neighbourhood, the occupation soldiers raided the homes of citizens, and moved from one house to another after destroying and leaving holes in the walls.
Last night, Tawfiq Ahmed Qandil, 82, was killed with 9 bullets fired directly at him by a sniper, while two citizens were injured in the eastern region, and a young man was run over by an Israeli military jeep. The occupation also blew up a house in the Kharouba area of the city.
The war of genocide waged by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights, as it exposes the lives and property of civilians to grave danger, and causes them great suffering.
