Israeli occupation forces have committed another massacre in Nablus, in the north of the occupied West Bank, with 11 Palestinians killed and dozens injured
And, on the same day, two Palestinians have died of injuries they previously sustained following Israeli occupation forces’ attacks on them.
A large number of occupation forces stormed the Sheikh Muslim neighborhood on the outskirts of Nablus’s Old Town. Occupation forces fire live rounds and ‘less lethal’ projectiles, killing and injuring many.
The Director of the Red Crescent’s Ambulance and Emergency department in Nablus, Ahmed Jibril, has said that occupation forces prevented medical staff from reaching Sheikh Muslim.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has announced the death of Anan Shawkat Annab, 66-years-old, as a result of inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli occupation forces in the neighborhood.
The others killed in Nablus are: Adnan Sabaa Baara, 72-years-old, Muhammad Khaled Anbousi, 25-years-old, Tamer Nimr Minawi, 33-years-old, Musab Munir Muhammad Awais, 26-years-old, Hussam Bassam Aslim, 24-years-old, Muhammad Abdel Fattah Abdel al-Ghani, 23-years-old, Walid Riyad Hussein Dakhil, 23-years-old, Abdel-Hadi Abdel Aziz Ashkar, 61-years-old, Jasser Jamil Abdel-Wahhab Qaneer, 23-years-old, and a child, Muhammad Farid Shaaban, 16-years-old.
At the same time, Muhammad Sami Abu al-Amreen, also a minor, has died of the injuries he sustained after being shot by Israeli occupation forces approximately two years ago near the town of Jabalia in the Gaza Strip.
Abu al-Amreen was struck after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a group of civilians near the apartheid wall.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has also announced the death Muhammad Nabil Fawzi Sabah, 29-years-old, due to injuries he sustained after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in Jenin city, in the north of the occupied West Bank, approximately two weeks ago.
With the deaths of Abu al-Amreen and Sabah and the victims of today’s massacre, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers since the beginning of this year has risen to 64, including at least 13 children, 4 elderly people, and one detainee.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has said that the first months of this year have proven the bloodiest in the West Bank since at least the year 2000.
